We went deep into the Welsh countryside to see armed forces from around the world taking part in NATO's toughest patrolling challenge.
Exercise Cambrian Patrol is the premier patrolling event of the British Army which is held in Wales and hosted by Headquarters 160th (Welsh) Brigade.
The teams of eight set off during all hours of the day and night, from 3am to 8pm. They had 37 miles of Welsh foothills to cover, with a variety of arduous challenges along the way.
Back after a hiatus due to Covid, military teams from all over the world gathered in Wales this week to tackle the hardest patrol competition in NATO.
From multiple casualty scenarios to fighting a fictional enemy, the troops have to demonstrate quick thinking, physical endurance and excellent military skills to complete the patrol across the Black Mountains in Wales.
