The developer time for this track straight up sucks. It's not much of a battle against the ghost since he doesn't take the vines shortcut at all and has bad wide drift lines, this is more of a battle against the track itself. You have to use everything here: U-turning, drop drifting, reserve management, all your skills are tested but so long as you can maintain blue flames and hit the vines shortcut (even the worse one on the left will do) then you'll guarantee a win.
I really want to say I love this track, but I'm conflicted. The aesthetics, music, speed, intensity, it's all on point but the jankiness is so frustrating. There's so many weird problems like the metallic border of the road on the vines shortcut not being solid so you fall right through it, the grey bricked road at the end spiral being uneven and causing a lot of odd collision problems where you keep bouncing off the edges, the whole small section directly after the first blue flames pad having bizarre slopes that can sometimes slingshot you to the moon or other times only lightly bounce you, adding onto that part the annoying placement of the CTR sign with the unusually low hanging invisible ceiling, a lot of the sloped road in general not playing well, it makes the track a bit of a mess. I can look past a lot of it and still rate it as a very fun track; however, I can understand why some people hate this one.
Also I have no idea why it was lagging at the end. That wasn't my capture card, the game itself was lagging. Glad it only happened after it was over.
