My Unforgettable Trip to Turkey

My trip began with the excitement of exploring a new country, eager to indulge in the rich flavors of Turkish cuisine. However, I quickly realized that dining out was beyond my budget.

Determined to find a more affordable option, I decided to seek out Pakistani food, thinking it would be a comforting and economical choice. I stumbled upon a random Pakistani restaurant, lured in by the familiar aroma and the promise of home-cooked meals. Without glancing at the menu, I placed an order for four omelets, two parathas, one aloo paratha, and two cups of chai, envisioning a delicious feast.

To my shock, when the bill arrived, it was a staggering 28,000 Pakistani rupees! I couldn't believe my eyes. What was meant to be a budget-friendly meal turned into a costly mistake. This experience taught me a valuable lesson about the importance of checking prices before ordering, especially in a foreign country.

As if the culinary mishap wasn’t enough, my time in Istanbul was further complicated by local protests. The streets were filled with police presence, and many roads were closed, creating an atmosphere of tension and uncertainty. I found myself navigating through the city amidst the chaos, trying to make the most of my trip despite the challenges.
