March 1945 In the last weeks of the war, after performing a special task in the rear of the enemy, Major Gorelov’s armor group returned to theirs. In search of fuel, the convoy enters the village, where a German teacher joins the group, whose husbands should be shot by order of Goebbels, deserting from the Wehrmacht, and an American who escaped from a concentration camp. From an American tankers learn that the Nazis are preparing to blow up a secret military plant located near the town of Lauban, along with two thousand prisoners of war there: the French, the British and Americans. Gorelov’s group, which is being pursued by the enemies, decides to go to the rescue of the allies ...
