Riding through NYC on the Yamaha XMAX 300, I break down my thoughts on lane splitting and filtering—why it can actually be safer in standstill traffic, how it helps avoid distracted drivers, and why I’d rather be in front at a red light. I also share some of my riding habits like looking back instead of mirrors, keeping two fingers on the brake for faster reactions, and even switching up my route just to kill the monotony.
Along the way, I get personal—talking about my Bronx roots, joking about “kids” I don’t have, and giving props to riders like Ducati NYC who crush those long rides. For me, I’d love to do the big trips, but right now it’s about living life, riding local, and traveling when I can.
