So I decided to take a gamble and purchase a NON-RUNNING 2006 Yamaha TTR-230 and got it running again! Took quite a bit of diagnosis, but it was a good learning process. The bike still needs a bit more work to be reliable, but I'm glad to have another usable trail bike in the fleet.
