Algar Seco Carvoeiro Portugal Beach Caves and Cliffjumping in the Algarve

We started out this year's summer vacation with some cliff jumping and cave exploring at Algar Seco in Carvoeiro, Portugal - along that beautiful and exciting Algarve coast.

On a tip we received in a comment on a previous video, we heard there was some pretty good cliffjumping at Algar Seco, so we headed out. Sure enough, it was crowded with cliffjumpers and there were plenty of heights to choose from.

As an added bonus, there were plenty of caves to explore, reachable by swimming from the cliff jump landing spot or by taking the steps down the backside from dry land.

Either way, it was an exciting day - everyone around there was having a great time, even with the skies somewhat hazy from the nearby Monchique fires that burned for days.

There are plenty of great beaches in the Carvoeiro area, check out the video library for the Paraiso Beach trip, and it's always full of tourists in the summer time. Algar Seco also has a nice cliff walk, but we didn't do it on this day, as we wanted to head off to the beach after checking out the caves and cliffs.
