My younger brother and I drove up to the Cherokee National Forest to do some trout fishing at the Tellico river. It was our first time coming to the area, and we had to fish through some tough water conditions. It had just stormed the night before, and it made the water very murky and the current was pretty strong. We switched to using nightcrawlers with 2 small split shot weights about 10-12" above the hook and bumped the worms along the bottom of the stream to get hooked into some fish. We didn't catch a ton of fish, but we had a great time enjoying the scenery and taking everything in. Made a cool memory with my little brother and finished our trip off with some fresh trout cooked right next to the river!
