How to Install a Stone Carpet | Complete Guide | EPODEX

Welcome to EPODEX.
In this video we’ll show you how to use EPODEX’s products to lay a stone carpet.
For the preparation, you will need the following supplies:
EPODEX PU Primer
A Mixing Bucket
A Scale
A Stirrer and cordless screwdriver,
A paint roller and paint tray,
Nitrile gloves
Edge trim
As well as our assembly adhesive
The substrate must be load-bearing, dry, and free of dirt and separating agents.
Prime the substrate with our PU primer.
Allow the primer to dry.
Attach edge trims to the edges for a clean finish.
For this, you can use our assembly adhesive, for example.
Proceed with the main coating.
For the main coating, you will need
EPODEX Stone Carpet, consisting of Stones and PU Binder.
A Mixing Bucket
A Scale
A Stirrer and cordless screwdriver,
A Smoothing trowel
A Spatula
A Rubber squeegee
Nitrile Gloves and a respiratory mask,
as well as a spray bottle with dish soap and water
Mix the stones with the PU Binder in the specified mixing ratio.
Apply the material directly to the surface to be coated immediately after mixing.
Spread the material using a trowel.
Use the spray bottle to clean the trowel and smooth the material.
Allow the material to cure.
Especially in damp areas and outdoor spaces, we recommend applying EPODEX PU Filler to fill and seal the surface, ensuring a water-repellent and easy-to-clean finish.
Apply the material with a spatula and then use a rubber squeegee to remove any excess material.
