We have a strong bias for action. Whether something 'good' happens or whether something 'bad' happens, our response invariably is, "What should I do?"
Many times, the action bias is a manifestation of the ego where we feel that we are 'doers' and we can 'do' things to change the course of events. That ego is contrary to the principle of surrender. It was this realization that made Draupadi win the grace and immense blessings of Lord Krishna. This realization is what will make us also win the grace and blessings of our dear Swami.
