Verse 1
אַשְׁרֵי הָאִישׁ אֲשֶׁר לֹא הָלַךְ בַּעֲצַת רְשָׁעִים וּבְדֶרֶךְ חַטָּאִים לֹא עָמָד וּבְמוֹשַׁב לֵצִים לֹא יָשָׁב.
Ashrei ha'ish asher lo halakh be'atzat resha'im u'vederekh chata'im lo amad u'vemoshav leitzim lo yashav.
"Blessed is the man who doesn’t walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers."

Verse 2
כִּי אִם בְּתוֹרַת ה' חֶפְצוֹ וּבְתוֹרָתוֹ יֶהְגֶּה יוֹמָם וָלָיְלָה.
Ki im beTorat Adonai cheftzo u'veTorato yeheggeh yomam va'laylah.
"But his delight is in the Torah of Adonai, and on His Torah, he meditates day and night."

Verse 3
וְהָיָה כְּעֵץ שָׁתוּל עַל פַּלְגֵי מָיִם אֲשֶׁר פִּרְיוֹ יִתֵּן בְּעִתּוֹ וְעָלֵהוּ לֹא־יִבּוֹל וְכֹל אֲשֶׁר יַעֲשֶׂה יַצְלִיחַ.
V'hayah ke'etz shatul al palgei mayim asher piryo yiten be'ito v'alehu lo yibol v'chol asher ya'aseh yatzliach.
"He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also does not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper."

Verse 4
לֹא־כֵן הָרְשָׁעִים כִּי אִם־כַּמֹּץ אֲשֶׁר־תִּדְּפֶנּוּ רוּחַ.
Lo-ken ha'resha'im ki im-kamatz asher tiddefenu ruach.
"The wicked are not so, but are like the chaff which the wind drives away."

Verse 5
עַל־כֵּן לֹא־יָקוּמוּ רְשָׁעִים בַּמִּשְׁפָּט וְחַטָּאִים בַּעֲדַת צַדִּיקִים.
Al-ken lo yakumu resha'im ba'mishpat v'chata'im b'adat tzaddikim.
"Therefore, the wicked shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous."

Verse 6
כִּי יוֹדֵעַ ה' דֶּרֶךְ צַדִּיקִים וְדֶרֶךְ רְשָׁעִים תֹּאבֵד.
Ki yode'a Adonai derekh tzaddikim v'derekh resha'im toved.
"For Adonai knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked shall perish."
