How Our Community Raised €1935,- for Kefalonia's Local Heroes"

Things that I love to do in the winter in Kefalonia! Heartwarming to see how a community can come together to support Kefalonia's brave firefighters through a festive fundraising event!🎄 Experience the true spirit of Christmas on our beautiful island!

Despite starting with typical winter weather in Kefalonia, the sun🌞 broke through to bless our event - just like the smiles that lit up everyone's faces! From homemade Christmas treats, home-made mulled wine, the famous bacon butties, to spontaneous line dancing that warmed us all up, this fundraising day showed the best of what our island community has to offer.

We're thrilled to announce that together, we raised an incredible €1,935 for our local heroes! 🚒 The money raised will go to the Rescue Team for harnesses and climbing equipment much needed in their department.

Things to do in Kefalonia aren't just about beaches and boat trips - they're about being part of a vibrant, caring community that comes together when it matters most. Whether you're a local, an expat, or planning your visit, this is the authentic Kefalonia experience you won't find in any travel guides.
