Mountain Lake Fishing from Float Tubes (New Mexico)

Join us as we take you on a scenic drive through the Jemez Mountains to Fenton Lake, New Mexico, for a peaceful day of float tube fishing. We stop at Amanda’s for nightcrawlers and check out the mounted brown trout, cutthroat, and mountain lion on display. On the lake, we battle the wind, cast lines in both shallow and deep waters, and catch brown trout and chubs. After fishing, we explore the stunning Jemez Soda Dam and soak our hands in a natural hot spring flowing from the mountainside. We end the day with delicious Indian tacos at Dave’s Burgers in Jemez.
