01. Abstract
In this webinar we will focus on bridge design for one of the most popular and efficient ways of transporting passengers or cargo for long-haul services, namely high-speed rail. Given the strict requirements for the design of high-speed railway bridges, the complexity of the design process increases significantly compared to those for normal railway. The emphasis in this session will be put on dynamic analysis and on the generation and application of loads coming from high-speed trains.
