restoring our 140 year old house: starting our vintage kitchen remodel!

Hi! We’re Katie and Cody, and we’re currently renovating our old Victorian house in Illinois. We pop back and forth between here and LA, so follow along as we do all things home and interiors :)

We’re finally starting our kitchen renovation - or more like a restoration?! We’re soooo beyond excited to get this space up and running to our current standards. It’s quite unique because even though our house was built in 1886, the kitchen was built on as an addition in the 40’s-ish… hence the VERY retro kitchen. We’ll share more about the moodboard and vision in our next video, but first up is lots of prep work, like priming, patching, painting… you know the drill. Thank you to Uncle Kenny for helping us again! We hope you enjoy the not so glamorous parts of our house projects.
