Easiest and most affordable way to install a subfloor in a bus.. (Off-grid school bus conversion)

Hello everyone welcome to our channel. We are The B-Wagon Bus. Shane, Elizabeth, and our little dog Honeypot are going to be transforming this 32-foot 2002 Blue Bird TC2000 school bus.

This week's video explains our process of getting rid of the rust on the floor and the specific paint we used to protect the floor ("chassis saver") that changes the compound of the rust where the paint adheres to the rust and the steel making it "life proofs the steel" (will not let air or moisture touch the steel to create rust) so no more rust. MAKE SURE TO WEAR protective equipment like a respirator and ear protectors this is some intense strong chemicals.

Further in the video, we explain the easiest and most affordable way to install a subfloor and why we did what we did with our "floating subfloor".

Us deciding and pursuing to build a Skoolie as our home on wheels was an easy decision for us but a huge project. However, Shane loves projects so he is super excited to show all of you our journey from the beginning of our bus build throughout the entire process.
