తెనాలి రామకృష్ణ గురించి : -
బతకడానికి తెలివి, డబ్బు రెండూ ఉండాలని నిరూపించిన తెనాలి రామకృష్ణుడి జీవితంలోని ఓ చిన్న కథ ఇది. సోమరితనంగా ఉండే తెనాలికి ఇష్టం లేకుండా తల్లిదండ్రులు పెళ్లి చేస్తారు. కుటుంబాన్ని ఎలా పోషించాలో తెలియక రామకృష్ణుడు తికమక పడుతూ ఉంటాడు. ఆ టైంలో ఓ సాధువు కనిపించి రోజూ ఒక మంత్రం జపించమని సలహా ఇస్తాడు. ఆయన చెప్పినట్టుగానే ఆయన చేస్తాడు. ఓ రోజు ఓ చేతిలో పాల గిన్నే, మరో చేతిలో పెరుగు గిన్నెతో కాళికా దేవీ ప్రత్యక్షమవుతుంది. పాల గిన్నె తీసుకుంటే తెలివితేటలు, పెరుగుగిన్నె తీసుకుంటే డబ్బు వస్తుంది. ఏదో ఒకటే తీసుకో అని చెబుతుంది. అయితే.. తెనాలి మాత్రం కాళీకా మాత చేతిలోని రెండు గిన్నెల్లో పాలు, పెరుగు గడగడ తాగేస్తాడు. దీంతో కాళీమాత ఆగ్రహం వ్యక్తం చేస్తుంది. కానీ రామకృష్ణుడు భయపడకుండా డబ్బు, తెలివి రెండూ ఉంటేనే సమాజం గుర్తింపు వస్తుందని చెబుతాడు. ఆ ధైర్యాన్ని, సమయస్పూర్తిని అమ్మవారు నువ్వు ఈ సమాజం వికటకవిగా గుర్తింపునిస్తుందని రామకృష్ణుడిని ఆశీర్వదిస్తుంది. ఆ తర్వాత రాయలవారి ఆస్థానంలో చేరి చాలా కుటిలమైన సమస్యలను సైతం క్షణాల్లో పరిష్కరించేవాడు. ఆయన చెప్పిన మాట కూడా అక్షర సత్యంగానే నిలిచింది. తెలివితో పాటు డబ్బు కూడా ఉన్నవాళ్లే ప్రస్తుత సమాజంలో గుర్తింపు పొందుతున్నారు.
