[Sans AUs] Nightmare can shapeshift?.. [Bad Sanses Skit] [AU] [Read Desc For Wholesome Headcanons]

I had this idea a long time ago when I first learned that Nightmare can shapeshift. So, I came up with a headcanon that he can shapeshift into others but if he feels a lot of positive emotions he will start to melt slowly and lose his colors back to black-ish blue.

YES, CARING NIGHTMARE IS THE THING I LIVE FOR! I know that he can't feel strong positive emotions most of the time because he's a pure negative being, but, like ??? I feel like he's very attached to his gang, and it even kind of goes along with canon! Because in canon it's true that Nightmare isn't really a personality but negative emotions and strong feelings and memories from his past self. But consider this! He wasn't feeling wanted or had a real family-like relationship while he was in Dreamtale, so he, with time, started to consider his gang as his family that he never had! That's just so wholesome ;D

Also considering Nightmares goop. I saw somewhere a headcanon that he can control his "goopiness" and can make his goop less drippy so he doesn't stain the objects and people around him. So, in my AU he controls it most of his free time; when he fights he doesn't because he needs to be sneaky and shift to evade attacks. The only exceptions are his tentacle-thingies that are drippy all the time and his goop that covers the place where his other eye is supposed to be.

Also, if you didn't know, Nightmares goop canonically is toxic and burns like acid when you touch it for too long or if you're Dream who can lose his hands if he tries to touch it for more than a few minutes. So, my other headcanon is that when Nightmares goop isn't drippy it doesn't burn anyone but Dream, but when he doesn't control it then it burns everyone if you touch for too long. That's why when Killer touched him on the side with no injury he could help Nightmare get up and wasn't stained. And when Horror helped Nightmare from the other side his hands immediately were covered in goop because Nightmares body was reforming his arm from that side.

Why didn't Horror get burned? That's the last headcanon! Horror technically [SPOILERS FOR HORRORTALE] isn't alive anymore, if you read the comic you know that his eye in the Core is what still keeps his body together. That's why Horror is an exception! He can touch goopy Nightmare no matter what ;D I'm totally using that for other skits in the future ;) That helps Nightmare a lot and is one of the reasons why Horror is part of the team even if he's not really a "bad sans". Oh, and Fell isn't technically part of the gang, he just likes to hang out with them and Nightmare lets him because he knows that Fell doesn't like Dream and Ink and wouldn't snitch. Error isn't in the gang also, he and Nightmare have a love-hate relationship, because they don't really respect each other that much, but will work together if needed and very often cooperate.

I really like making these small videos because they don't take a lot of time and there will be more of them, but I'm totally planning to finish my MCYT series before going full skits mode!
