The Old Ones FEARED Them: Tyranids vs Necrons | Warhammer 40k Crusade Battle Report

Even the Old Ones kept many myths of that which they could not comprehend. "The Hungering Oblivion" was one such myth that spoke of annihilation made manifest, an entity from the void between voids that sought to consume all. As the Silent King ventured beyond galaxy's edge, he came face to face with the reality of this myth; The Tyranids. And so he ended his self-proclaimed exile to reclaim the reigns over his empire; to stand against oblivion that would consume even his undying domain.

This is the story of one such opening battle between the Tyranids and the Necrons for dominion over the galaxy.


NOTE: This is homebrew lore written by me. The Silent King's return was rather meh, so I'm trying to think up reasons why he would suddenly return. The eldritch threat of the Tyranids trying to steal his domain, and fleshlings needed to research biotransferrence, would be a good reason for him to come back.
