Drones are becoming a bigger and bigger part of our daily lives as the technology (and the interest in them) continues to grow. Among their many applications is finding fossils, oddly enough. In this video, John Wente, a licensed drone pilot, walks us through everything you need to know to find fossils and map areas using drones. This includes safety information and everything you need to know before taking to the skies. As a treat, we also show a drone flight, along with some footage captured in the field with this particular drone.
