There was a sombre mood in Makutano, Emali, Makueni county as family, friends, and youth gathered to bid farewell to Garson Mutisya a 31-year-old who was fatally shot by police during the June 25th anniversary gen z demonstrations in Emali.
A funeral that turned into a rallying call for justice and accountability, with leaders from across the political divide condemning what they termed as a state-sponsored onslaught against innocent youth demanding change.
As the family mourned their son, they called for justice for a lost soul.
