Story:

Lilith had few choices, at the end of the day. Leave, allow the angels to Exterminate the sinners she had worked so hard to inspire and empower, and sell the very essence of her being, her voice, to Sera, to guarantee her husband and daughter's protection from the yearly Exterminations of her people— or leave her family at the mercy of the angels, same as any common sinner. They say the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, but to Lilith? Her few are worth sacrificing the entirety of Hell. And thus, not only was her physical voice stripped to silence, but also a silence of her conscience— she would let her kingdom rot for her husband and child.
