Hapag-Lloyd’s Hanoi Express just completed Hong Kong’s largest-ever LNG bunkering operation—refueling with 10,000 m³ of LNG in just 24 hours, while simultaneously loading and unloading cargo.

This milestone, achieved in cooperation with CLPe and CNOOC Guangdong, utilized the Haiyang Shiyou 301, the world’s largest LNG bunkering vessel. By combining ship-to-ship bunkering with active cargo handling, we significantly minimized port stay and boosted overall operational efficiency.
