Introduction to Neural Networks

In this video we introduce one of the most powerful and useful concepts in the artificial intelligence and machine learning toolset, the neural network. This lecture serves as an introduction into the basic structure, notation/nomenclature, and concepts of a neural network. In addition, this describes the forward propagation process whereby inputs to the network are propagated throughout the network to produce an output. Subsequent videos will deal with topics such as backpropagation, stochastic gradient descent, and much more.
