Reading and Northern 2102: The Fall Foliage Special

Its a rainy Saturday on the RBMN, but that doesn't stop the massive Reading T-1 #2102, from getting her passengers up and over the blue mountains to the scenic town of Jim Thorpe. The cold air makes for some great smoke shows, and the wet rails of the days rain means the engine crew is working the big 4-8-4 more than ever to lug the 17 car train up the grade. Lets follow 2102 and her crew on this extremely wet and cold day, as they battle and concur the grades of the RBMN's Reading mainline. The rain never stops us photographer from catching a train, but it does leave for some challenges, like back spray onto the lens, which becomes more apparent towards the end of the video. Enjoy!
