A common question we get at Parcil Safety is "which filter should I get?" Short answer - it depends on what you are trying to filter out and what kind of respirator you purchase.
Parcil Safety offer 3 types of filter attachment styles - industry standard bayonet, NATO 40mm, and proprietary filter designs specifically designed for our masks.
Rule of thumb - if you are looking to use a respirator in an industrial or commercial setting and plan on going through a lot of different filters, go with industry standard bayonet. This way, if you're in a pinch, you can swing by your local hardware store and typically can find replacement filters.
If you are looking to purchase filters for an emergency situation - i.e. a chemical spill, biological attack, or doomsday scenario, then we recommend going with NATO 40mm.
Finally, if you're looking for increase vision capabilities, easy to remove and replace filter options, we'd recommend going with one of proprietary models designed for ease of use and increase peripheral vision!
