كما نفنّد الخرافات الأكثر شيوعًا: أن العقم دائمًا سببه المرأة، أن التوتر وحده يكفي، أن امتاع الذات أو الاستحمام خلال الدورة يسبّب العقم، أو أن أطفال الأنابيب تؤدّي إلى السرطان أو انقطاع الطمث المبكر.
