Positioning Fundamentals - know how to position for ANY SET! | TFT BEGINNER GUIDE

Positioning is a difficult skill to learn - though thankfully most players don't need to be an expert at it because a lot of the same guides used for comps will also show you a way to position the board.

But just like how players rely too much on the item recommendations in those guides, they also rely too much on the unit positioning shown. If you never move your units and only stick to the single position, eventually players will be able to take advantage of the weaknesses of your board to win fights, and you may find yourself struggling to go 1st or 2nd in many of your games!

A lot of positioning does come down to the unique units in every TFT set, and so you can't be an expert just with general knowledge. But in this lesson, we'll go over the basics to give you a strong foundation on which to build on as new sets come out.
