Here is a rundown of our 10 days in Bali meeting up with Kezza who was there for a conference. In fact, that was what started our plans for this trip to Indo. We spent 6 days with Kez in Legian and Ubud then continued for another week north-east to Tulamben and Amed and inland from there exploring on scooters. Much easier and safer with less traffic! And so much fun!
Bali probably would not be on our travel list again other than to transit to other Indonesian islands. It is extremely touristy with an obvious rubbish disposal issue. There are some amazing areas that are much quieter than the SE corner but it won't be long before they are just as busy.
