Dentistry in General Presents: Interview with Dr. Mouhab Rizkallah, the Author of Massachusetts' Question 2 (Dental Insurance Reform)

In November 2022, Massachusetts voters overwhelmingly approved a measure known as Question 2. This law now requires dental insurance companies to spend at least 83% of the premiums they collect on patient care versus administrative costs. One Insurance Company chose to donate over double the amount of what they spent on patient care to their parent company. These same insurance companies are lowering compensations for dentists, effectively cutting from patient care.

Dr. Mouhab Rizkallah , an orthodontist in Massachusetts, spent $3 million of his own money to fight insurance companies. Just Google his name and watch some of the YouTube videos during this Massachusetts question 2 debate and referendum. Not many of us would do what he did but now that he has done it, it's our turn to return the favor and support him in making this go nationwide.
