NO! I'm not a fabricator. Right, with that out of the way, I decided to build a stand to hold the service truck transmission for rebuild. Thought it was all good, then went to test the balance.....and well.....the stand was ready to tip over. Had to modify it. 2nd attempt was much better. This stand should prove very useful now, and in the future when we do more transmission repairs. Along the way we also use some fun power tools: a cutting torch, bit of welding, and my favorite the Hot Saw.
