Due to the news this week regarding the closure for the 2020 season at the NDAC, I thought I would upload a short video of my favourite spot there underwater.
INSIDE THE BAE 146 AIRCRAFT! Sitting at a depth of 27m, this gem in the National Diving and Activities Centre requires a little more experience.
It is such a surreal wreck to swim through with its complete skeleton structure, you will find yourself swimming through a tunnel of windows!
In 2007, the structure was carefully lowered into the water by a 100 tonne crane with help from Police Specialist Underwater & Search teams, along with representatives from the Army, Navy and RAF.
Another favourite spot to explore in my favourite inland quarry!
