Sag Harbor Cinema continues its “Projections” series on Sunday, March 23rd, from 4pm-5pm, with Hamptons Community Outreach, featuring the panel discussion “Supporting the Shinnecock: Home Repair and Community Empowerment with Hamptons Community Outreach.”
Featured speakers include Marit Molin, LCSW, Founder and Executive Director of Hamptons Community Outreach; Denise “Weetahmoe” Silva-Dennis (Shinnecock/Hassanamisco-Nipmuc), artist, educator, and Hamptons Community Outreach Board Member; and Becky Genia, activist, musician, and Shinnecock Indian Tribal Member.
Shawn Sachs, Sag Harbor Cinema Board Member and Partner and CEO of Sunshine Sachs, moderates the discussion and the Q&A that follows.
