In the Far East, the coast of Kamchatka, Russian military pilots intercepted a United States Air Force reconnaissance aircraft near to Russian borders. There was an RC-135 capable of intercepting radio waves and jamming. A MiG-31 fighter immediately went to meet it. Russian fighter escorted the spy plane away from the Russian borders. No border violations were allowed, the pilots of MiG-31 acted in strict accordance with international rules.
