Do you use the ground? I could watch this video over and over again. How you use the ground is important for stability and speed. Your connection to the ground is as important to your connection to the grip.
Rory here loses flexion in the trail leg which indicates that the pelvis is rotating. He also moves in to flexion to start the down swing from here he is loaded using his vertical pressures that explodes from the ground generating power.
Rory does it with such effortless as this move is seen through all his childhood swings. It’s not as easy as it looks but my word take the time to try and get in touch with the ground during the swing.
