Groups of guests making bookings in multiple accommodations in different categories of accommodations may please note that different categories of accommodations are located at different points in the Reserve. Therefore, traveling between them might be difficult and also restricted at night. Read the descriptions of different types of accommodations to see their locations within the Reserve.


Note:
All seasons throughout the year are good for a visit to the reserve, except during peak summer which occurs normally in March and April, with temperatures rising upto 32ºC.


Rules:
Obtain entrance permission from Reception Range Office at Theppakadu before occupying the Rest Houses.
For those who have booked the rooms, it is a must to produce a photocopy of ID proof and booking receipt at the Reception.
In the case of Foreign visitors, either individually or in a group it is mandatory to enter their details in Form-C available at Reception Centre.
Those who have booked the rooms must report at the Reception office, Theppakadu before 6.30 pm and if it is not reported within the stipulated time, rooms are subject to cancellation.
It is compulsory to obtain a clearance certificate before vacating the rooms.
Consumption of alcoholic drinks and smoking within the Reserve is prohibited.
Rest houses are located in the core zone of the reserve and highly animal movement area, so visitors are advised not to come out from the rooms after 7 pm.
Cooking in and outside the rooms is prohibited
A centralized canteen is available for all the rooms located at Theppakadu.
Caretakers are available for rest houses located away from Theppakadu.
Don’t carry or damage any government property with you as it will be considered a criminal offence.


Schedule:
Check-in Time: is 2:00 PM and Check-out Time is by 12:00 PM subsequent day
Early Check-ins and Late Check-outs shall be subject to availability and payment of additional charges.
