Kay Boyle, December 10, 1975, reads a piece on white academia's co-opting of Black Studies: The full-program video features Boyle's complete reading, for The Poetry Center at San Francisco State University, where Boyle taught writing for some years, and engaged in the Faculty Strike in support of the Student Strike of 1968–69, which brought into existence the first College of Ethnic Studies anywhere.
