As PCB complexity increases, flexibility to design changes and higher predictability become the main challenges to meet today’s requirements from the market, mainly shorter time to market, lower costs, and improved performances.  Modern simulation software is a key solution to those challenges as they not only allow engineers to predict the performances of a PCB at an early stage of the design in a short amount of time and with reasonable accuracy, but they also allow them to identify the optimized design among a high number of variants. The purpose of this podcast is to show how numerical simulation can improve the ability of electronic engineers to predict and improve PCB reliability performances through simulation.
