It's almost Christmas! Today we are making a greek tradition. Melomakarona are delicious biscuits baked around Christmas time. They are sweet and perfect for celebrating the holidays!

INGREDIENTS:
FOR THE DOUGH:
2 cups corn oil
1 cup vegetable fat (if you really can’t find this, margarine works however it slightly changes the texture of the biscuit)
1 cup sugar
1kg flour
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
1 cup orange juice (freshly squeezed)
the zest of 2 oranges
FOR THE SYRUP:
1.5 cups honey
1.5 cups sugar
2.5 cups water
TO COVER:
150g walnuts
2 tsp sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
