Being a cybersecurity professional can be a blessing in some ways. They are tech-savvy, intelligent, not easily trapped by phishing emails or social engineering attempts, paranoid, and rarely get scammed. However, this is not attainable for millions of people who get impacted every day by cybercrimes.
The local cyber crime cells in every state are overwhelmed with cybercrime complaints. Unless the cybersecurity community joins hands to work with law enforcement agencies, we will see many young people commit suicide, the elderly losing their life savings, teenagers trapped in sextortion, and similar vicious crimes.
If you are part of the cybersecurity community, learn how to make a difference and support timely intervention to save lives.

About the speaker:
Rajshekhar Pullabhatla, Director of Information Sharing and Analysis Center (ISAC) has over 20+ years of experience in Information Security. He has previously worked with Microsoft Corporation and Etisalat Telecom and has strong exposure to cyber offensive and defensive intelligence. Rajshekhar is the founder of ISAC, which manages the the National Security Database (NSD) program to identify credible cyber security professionals with verified skills, who can work on sensitive projects for protection of Indian cyber space. ISAC is a non-profit foundation, and a partner with NCIIPC, CERT-IN and Ministry of Education.
