Tyshan Riley, one of the most known murderers in the city, visited Toronto last week to attend a viewing for his deceased father at a funeral home in the west end that was surrounded by armed Emergency Task Force officers.

"After everything, he's done? He should be in detention, so why is he leaving to visit a grave? One of his victims, Leonard Bell, stated on Friday. "The Canadian criminal justice system is degenerating into a farce. How can taxpayers afford to give these beasts privileges?

Bell, a renovator, nevertheless experiences persistent agony. He was shot many times while sitting in a car that was stopped at Finch Avenue East and Neilson Road intersection in March 2004. That shooting occurred twelve years ago. Brenton Charlton, the driver, was killed.

A member of the prosecution team was shocked that Riley was permitted by Correctional Service Canada to travel to Toronto and spend about an hour inside the Jerrett Funeral Home at St. Clair Ave. West and Dufferin St. on Thursday afternoon after being escorted out of the maximum security prison in Quebec.
