Do we really need another kettlebell swing video on the internet?
Maybe so if we can learn to use KB swings to diagnose movement issues.
That’s exactly what we’ll do in today’s Q & A, so grab your @neurocoffee and enjoy.
From Annie:
I have noticed many of my clients - even very mobile / symmetrical folks tend to lose right side mid foot contact during KB swings in the midway point of the hinge on the descent
I’m wondering if this is a problem with the right hip missing internal rotation I'm thinking if the right hip is missing the kind or IR it needs for a deep squat, or something further down the knee / ankle complex and perhaps a bit of end range right hip extension too. However, extension “looks” normal L/R.
What are the common causes and systems to properly address it? Is it even a problem?
Thanks for all you do, I never stop learning from your content.
