Van Life Canada | Ferry to Labrador & First Days on the Trans-Labrador Highway

We wake up for the last time in Newfoundland and take the ferry across to Labrador — the start of a brand-new adventure!

After a short crossing, we drive Route 138 west, only to discover that it ends after just 70 km. So, we turn around and officially begin our journey on the legendary Trans-Labrador Highway!
Along the way, we visit the historic Point Amour Lighthouse and ancient Burial Mound, before checking out the Red Bay National Historic Park (spoiler: not really our favourite).
We climb Tracey Hill, pick some wild berries, and enjoy incredible coastal views before hitting the remote roads that will take us deeper into Labrador.

This vlog marks the first leg of our Trans-Labrador Highway road trip in our self-converted camper van — wild landscapes, history, and pure van life adventure await!
