较一百年前，广州市平均气温上升 1.4℃。也许你会问，不就是 1.4℃ 吗？2℃ 又怎样？3℃ 又怎样？气候变化议题放在全球背景下时，我们容易将它理解为一个离自己比较远的话题，对平均气温的升高缺乏感受，也会怀疑个人的行动是否真的有意义。刘君言通过这个演讲，希望让我们重新认识气候与我们每一个个体的关系，也让我们看到，个体的行动，能够创造改变。

Compared with 100 years ago, the average temperature in Guangzhou has increased by 1.4℃. You may ask, isn't it only 1.4℃, so what if it is 2℃, so what if it is 3℃? When climate change is put in a global context, we tend to understand it as a topic far away from ourselves, and we lack the feeling of the increase in average temperature, and wonder whether our personal actions are really meaningful. Through this talk, Junyan Liu hopes to reintroduce us to the relationship between climate and each of us as individuals, and to show us that individual action can create change. 从女性主义研究学生到经济学博士，君言一直关注平权（equity）和发展（development），在研究中她发现，气候变化在拉大不平等的鸿沟，让本身脆弱的人群暴露在风险之下，而经济社会的惯性却导致气候变化加剧。她不满足研究者的角色，决定更积极地参与到气候风险与能源转型的推动工作中，成为气候变化行动者。

刘君言，可持续发展经济学博士，现任绿色和平气候风险项目负责人。她认为气候变化作为影响人类未来的危机，需要用行动带来希望与改变。


From her studies as a Women and Gender studies student to her PhD in economics, Junyan has focused on equity and development, where she found that climate change is widening the inequality gap and exposing vulnerable populations to risk, while economic and social inertia is exacerbating climate change. When the researcher role could no longer fulfil her, she decided to become a more active participant in the promotion of climate risk and energy transition and became a climate change activist.

Junyan Liu has a PhD in sustainable development economics and is currently head of the Greenpeace Climate Risk Program. She believes that climate change, as a crisis affecting the future of humanity, needs to be acted upon to bring hope and change.
