Here we look at the common Catalytic Converter efficiency 276a / 0420 fault stored in the ECU/DME. Sometimes this fault will only trigger an engine fault light when it's been stored for a while. This can lead to driving without being aware of this fault. Here we take a look at the longterm and short term fuel trims to diagnose if we have a problem and what we can do about it. We also look at the pre B1s1 and post B2S2 cat O2 sensors and how their readings can point us in the right direction to solving the problem.
