Back in March 2022 I was kindly invited to capture the inside of the old Sunderland County Court before they were renovated into properties. I’ve never put this footage anywhere and thought it would be cool for you to see!
I’m sorry for the vertical footage, when I filmed this video I was posting only on Instagram and Tiktok and didn’t have a clue that my channel North East Nostalgic would become so popular.
Sunderland County Court in John Street dealt with the area’s non-criminal civil and family legal matters 1876 from 2018, I’ve always loved the figure heads at the doorways, I believe one is lady justice with her blindfold.
