Ligier JS P4 Prototype Endurance Race Car - 385Hp 3.7-Litre N/A Ford V6 Engine, Misano 2022

For the first time, I had the opportunity to film a Ligier JS P4, in this case belonging to the LR Motorsport Team. We are on the Misano circuit during a day of private racing car tests organized by Kateyama. This lightweight prototype sports car weighing just 920 kg is powered by a 3.7-Liter N/A Ford V6 Cyclone engine capable of developing 385 Hp. The Ligier JS P4 is the base car of the French manufacturer that allows drivers to enter the world of endurance racing. It can be entered in all competitions of this type, from the Ligier European Series to the Creventic 24 Hours Proto Series. The monocoque bodywork in composite material respects the same safety measures necessary for homologizing LMP3 cars. We also find a 6-speed semi-automatic gearbox with steering wheel controls, a double-disc ZF clutch and a massive braking system with 355x32 mm discs at the front and rear taken from the upper LMP3 car. Per la prima volta ho avuto occasione di filmare una Ligier JS P4, in questo caso appartenente al Team LR Motorsport. Ci troviamo sul circuito di Misano durante una giornata di test privati per auto da corsa organizzata da Kateyama. Questa leggera vettura sport prototipo di soli 920 Kg è mossa da un motore Ford V6 Cyclone da 3.7-Litri aspirato capace di sviluppare 385 Hp. La Ligier JS P4 è la vettura base del costruttore francese che permette ai piloti di entrare nel mondo delle corse endurance. Può essere iscritta a tutte le competizioni di questo tipo, dalla Ligier European Series alla Creventic 24 Hours Proto Series. La carrozzeria monoscocca in materiale composito rispetta le stesse misure di sicurezza necessarie per l'mologazione delle vetture LMP3. Troviamo inoltre un cambio semi-automatico a 6 rapporti con comandi al volante, una frizione ZF a doppio disco ed un massiccio impianto frenante con dischi da 355x32 mm all'anteriore ed al posteriore prelevati dalla vettura superiore LMP3.
