Guzman, who served as a machine gunner in the Marine Corps and as an Army combat engineer, co-narrates this moving film about the redemptive powers of paddling with a PTSD therapy group in Congaree National Park. During winter months, waters from the Congaree and Wateree Rivers sweep through the forest floodplain, opening up a new, surreal world. The Congaree National Park Wilderness is a place to escape, reflect, and enjoy.
