The IMF will keep a close eye on Indonesia's new reform programme amid market skepticism following the failure of an earlier plan to restore confidence in the economy, analysts said on Friday (16/1).
President Suharto promised wide-ranging and painful reforms in a new deal he made on Thursday with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), including the abolition of monopolies and cartels controlled by his family and friends.
