There are many different attachments for the Prostop system by Accurate Technology. This video does in depth into which attachment should be used for specific applications.
You can set multiple offsets to accommodate for the different stop attachments. EX: You angle your blade for a mitered cut which changes the position of the blade relative to the stop. Usually you would need to re-datum the system but with a programmed offset you can press the F1 key to apply an offset and take your cut without pausing to change your datum.
ProStop is a good addition to your existing saw so the measurements are digitized and gives a robust stop you can set before cutting your parts. Keeps the cuts repeatable and accurate across different operators.
